Zoe Kravitz (Zoe Isabella Kravitz) was born on December 01, 1988, in Los Angeles, USA.

She is an American model, TV personality, and actress. Her father is a famous singer Lenny Kravitz, and her mother is an actress Lisa Bonet. She wanted to prove that she is not just a pretty face and popular because of her famous parents, so she boasts an impressive resumé full of performances of various movie genres and roles that she played perfectly.

Early life

Zoe is a daughter of a famous couple but also her grandparents came from an acting background: her grandmother was actress Roxie Roker, and her grandfather Sy Kravitz was a filmmaker. After six years of marriage, Kravitz’s parents divorced and she ended up living with her father. After that, she lived with her father and spent the summers with her mother.

Zoë attended school in Miami but eventually graduated in 2007 from Rudolf Steiner School in New York. After high school, Kravitz enrolled in the acting conservatory at State University of New York

Career

Her movie debut was in two feature films during her senior year at ‘Rudolf Steiner’ college. First was when she played a role in a romantic drama ‘No Reservations’ (2007), with her co-stars Aaron Eckhart and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The second was playing the character of a teen prostitute in the crime thriller ‘The Brave One’. She became a darling of the independent film community after appearing in a handful of provocative movies that focused on character study. In 2008, she appeared in the comedy ‘Birds of America’, about a man (Matthew Perry) who takes his grown-up siblings under his wing following their parents’ death. Next, she played a young woman addicted to attending grief counseling in ‘The Greatest’ (2009). With so many movies that are greatly accepted by the audience and the critics, she has become the most perspective young actress of today.

Aside from acting, she has appeared in a couple of music videos, including Jay-Z’s ‘I Know’ in 2008, and ‘We Are the Ones’ by Will I Am and with many other celebrities. She also modeled for a few magazines, including fashion magazine Elle and starred in a fashion campaign for designer Alexander Wang. Aside from all this, she sang lead vocals and co-wrote for the band Elevator Fight.
