Biography of Nicola Peltz

This young beauty is an actress who became famous playing Katara in The Last Airbender.

Nicola Anne Peltz was born in 1995 in Westchester County in New York as a daughter of a model Claudia Heffner and a very successful businessman and philanthropist Nelson Peltz. She grows up in a very big family having two younger brothers, four older ones, and an older sister. One of her brothers is an actor as well and his name is Will Peltz.

Since she comes from a very rich family she had an agent when she was 12 years old, and only a year later she was starring in a production of Blackbird in Manhattan Theatre Club with Jeff Daniels.

The first movie she ever appeared in was Deck the Halls, where she played Mackenzie, in 2006 being only 11 years old. In 2008 she was cast in two movies, Harold (2008) where she played Becki and Righteous Kill where she played the role of Lynn. In the same year, she starred in Miley Cyrus’ music video for the single “7 things”.

Her big breakthrough came in 2010 when she got the role of Katara in the fantasy adventure movie “The Last Airbender, directed by M. N. Shyamalan.

2013 – 2015 she played Bradley Martin, one of the main characters in Bates Motel an A&E drama-thriller series. Nicola appeared in 14 episodes all together working alongside Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga.

Her next big role was playing Tessa Yeager, one of the lead characters in Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth Transformers movie (2014). She signed for two more parts along with Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor, since this one is the first part of the new Transformers trilogy.

Other movies where she played important roles are teen drama Affluenza and dark comedy Youth in Oregon, and she will be part of a new movie adaptation of J.D. MacDonald’s book The Deep Blue Good-by, alongside Christian Bale, Peter Dinklage, and Rosamund Pike.

In 2015 she tried out as a model walking the runway for Alexander Wang at Paris Fashion Week.

Even though she is relatively new in the film and fashion industry she has a big army of followers on social networks. On her Instagram account, she has more than 400k fans, on the Twitter account more than 78k followers, and almost 60k likes on her official Facebook page.

Nicola was always into sports. So much that she used to believe that her career would involve professional athletics.

Being only 19 she is not linked to boys yet, but there were few rumors. One of them was that she is dating her co-star Jack Reynar but that stopped when he made public his relationship with model Madeline Mulqueen.

Peltz just started her career and we are sure we will be seeing her more and more in the times that come.
