Brad Pitt (William Bradley Pitt) was born on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, USA. After playing in several movies, he played in the movie that turned his world upside down. That was the movie “Thelma and Louise”, which was also a starting point for him to play in his many other famous movies. Brad almost overnight was turned into a star. Many magazines pronounced him as the sexiest man alive, and until today that hasn’t changed.

Early life

Brad was born to a trucking firm owner father and a mother who worked as a school counselor. He was raised in Springfield, Missouri. He has one brother and one sister, and he is the oldest in the family. During his youth, he was studying at Kickapoo High School and graduated in 1982. He used to be a member of the golf, tennis and swim teams. He continued his education at University of Missouri School of Journalism but then decided to quit before trying his luck in Hollywood.

Career

His first movie debut was in “Head of the Class and Growing Pains, Dallas” where he played a character of the hormonally charged boyfriend of Priscilla Presley’s daughter on the long-lived prime time soap. A year after he appeared in “Thelma & Louise”, where his co-actress was Geena Davis. His talent was also recognized when he played against type in “Snatch” (2000), as a gypsy named Mickey who goes berserk when his mother is killed. In 2008, he played in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” for which he was second time nominated by Academy Award nomination.

Brad was playing in a huge number of movies till today and the most known are: Fury, Babel, Burn After Reading, 12 Years a Slave, The Counselor, World War Z, Moneyball, The Tree of Life, Ocean’s Thirteen, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, Ocean’s Eleven, Spy Game, Killing Them Softly, Snatch, Inglourious Basterds, Fight Club, Meet Joe Black, Seven Years in Tibet ,The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Sleepers, Se7en, Ocean’s Twelve, Troy, Legends of the Fall, The Favor, True Romance, Kalifornia,The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, A River Runs Through It and Thelma & Louise.

He has won many movie awards until today. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award in Twelve Monkeys, nomination for best actor in Moneyball, Teen Choice Award as Choice Movie Actor in Troy…

Personal Life

Before he was a celebrity he supported himself by working on many different jobs, like moving refrigerators, driving strippers in limos and dressing as a giant chicken when he worked in a restaurant. A long-time vegetarian, Brad married actress Jennifer Aniston in 2000. They divorced in 2005 after Pitt began seeing his Angelina Jolie that he met on the movie set. In 2014, he and Angelina were married. He has three children with Angelina and 3 more are adopted.
