William Henry Cosby, Jr. (Bill Cosby) was born on July 12, 1937, in Philadelphia, USA. He is an American actor comedian, and producer, who has played a major role in the development of a more positive portrayal of African-Americans on television. He is most known by the comedy series “The Cosby Show”, which had a very big success and helped to cement his name as one of the prominent comics Hollywood has ever had. Bill Cosby is one of the top names in comedy.

Early life

His childhood wasn’t very happy. His mother Anna worked cleaning houses. He and his family lived in the low-income housing project. Also, the family’s money began to slip when his father began drinking heavily. His father went to U.S. Navy, and Bill was like a parent in the family. With money very tight for his family, Bill started to shine shoes to help out when he was 9 years old. He left high school and joined the U.S. Navy, and later also left college and became a stand-up comedian.

Career

Bill got his start as a stand-up performer before landing a starring role in ‘I Spy’, the 1960s action show. The series lasted for 3 years and he got a Primetime Emmy Awards for the show. In 1967 he starred in his own series, ‘The Cosby show’, which was very successful. In that show, he played the role of Dr. Huxtable. The show lasted for eight seasons from 1984 to 1992, and it became the number one show in America for five years. A spin-off series was later on created, ‘A Different World’, and became a right below ‘The Cosby Show’ in ratings.

Bill has a very rich filmography because he has been acting in a lot of movies and series by now, and the most known movies are: Jack, Cosby, I Spy Returns, The Cosby Mysteries, The Meteor Man, A Different World, California Suite, The Fat Albert Halloween Special, Hickey & Boggs, Fat Albert, and the Cosby Kids, Man and Boy and Aesop’s Fables.
He has also has released numerous music and comedy albums.

Personal Life

He has a wife Camille Olivia Hanks, who he married on January 25, 1964. They have five children together, a son and four daughters. With so many years in the show business, the stories about him were coming all the time in the newspapers. He made news headlines when he became a victim of a celebrity death hoax that quickly escalated over the internet, but he denied it. In 2014, he also made headlines, not for his comedy, but numerous accusations of sexual assault. More women soon came forth to claim that the comedian attacked them as well. After this incident, Cosby remained silent about these claims.

Early life

She was born as the only daughter of model/actress Nancy Dow and actor John Aniston whose name originally was Ioanni Anastassakis. After previously lived in Greece she spent most of her early life in New York. When she attended drama club she began flourishing interest in acting. When she was 15 she attended the High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Her desire to perform professionally became really hard to resist that she finally concluded not to continue her education at university.

Her first movie debut was in the TV series ‘Ferris Bueller’ and ‘Molloy’. Almost at the same time was her first movie debut in “Camp Cucamonga” which all aired in 1990. Later she was acting in several projects that were not so good accepted by the critics and the audience. But in 1994, she entered the audition for a pilot show of a new NBC sitcom called “Friends”. She won the role and with the support of her co-acters from ‘Friends’ her comedic skills were magnificent. The series had huge success around the country, even the world. At the same time the series brought her larger access to the film industry as well, beginning with ‘She’s the One (1996). In 2002, she played in ‘The Good Girl’ for which she was nominated for Best Female Lead.

Nicola Anne Peltz was born in 1995 in Westchester County in New York as a daughter of a model Claudia Heffner and a very successful businessman and philanthropist Nelson Peltz. She grows up in a very big family having two younger brothers, four older ones, and an older sister. One of her brothers is an actor as well and his name is Will Peltz.

Since she comes from a very rich family she had an agent when she was 12 years old, and only a year later she was starring in a production of Blackbird in Manhattan Theatre Club with Jeff Daniels.

The first movie she ever appeared in was Deck the Halls, where she played Mackenzie, in 2006 being only 11 years old. In 2008 she was cast in two movies, Harold (2008) where she played Becki and Righteous Kill where she played the role of Lynn. Her next big role was playing Tessa Yeager, one of the lead characters in Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth Transformers movie (2014). She signed for two more parts along with Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor, since this one is the first part of the new Transformers trilogy.

Other movies where she played important roles are teen drama Affluenza and dark comedy Youth in Oregon, and she will be part of a new movie adaptation of J.D. MacDonald’s book The Deep Blue Good-by, alongside Christian Bale, Peter Dinklage, and Rosamund Pike.

In 2015 she tried out as a model walking the runway for Alexander Wang at Paris Fashion Week.
