Amber Rose (Amber Levonchuck) was born on October 21, 1983, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. She was able to break into the Hollywood entertainment business by first posing for a Louis Vuitton.

After being in music videos for a huge number of celebrities like Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West she became a hostname overnight. She began acting as well and the world knows her the best from films “Joan of Arcadia” and “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”, and on the series “General Hospital”. So we can definitely say that she is made her Hollywood dream come true.

Early life

She comes from an artistic family. Her mother Bonnie is a singer, and her father, Russ, is an actor. When she was 10, an agent and family friend noticed her talent when he saw her acting in a school play. With help from a whole family, the agent persuaded her father to allow her to start going on auditions.

Career

She made her acting debut in the role of the daytime soap opera “General Hospital” where she played the role of Emily Bowen in 1995. As the critics were more than satisfied she remained on the show for six years. In 2001, after leaving “General Hospital”, she starred on prime-time shows Boston Public, CSI: Miami, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

She should play the lead role in the CBS drama “Joan of Arcadia” but it was canceled. The same thing happened in “Babylon Fields”, which was also canceled. The same year “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” was released. And also she played a role in the film “127 Hours”. The movies that she played in after 2001: A Haunting, Better Off Alone, The Hills, Running Russell Simmons, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Master of the Mix, Gang of Roses 2: Next Generation, School Dance, Selfie, Sister Code and Zoolander 2.
She was nominated and won many awards. She won an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Personal Life

The first celebrity men that she dated is Kanye West. After they began dating she was catapulted to stardom and often appeared in public events alongside the rapper. In 2010, she accused him of cheating on her with Kim Kardashian, and they broke up. She began dating Wiz Khalifa in early 2011 and got engaged to him but they split up a year after. She is now in marriage with an actor David Cross. The couple dated for two years before becoming engaged in 2011. She writes for the Poetry Foundation’s blog, Harriet, and by now she has published two books of poetry( Free Stallion and Bang Ditto).
